New Screencasts: New Smart Functions for the UTN Manager
Date: 02-28-2012 | Category: Products
We have developed new efficient business functions for the UTN Manager, the administration tool of all our myUTN USB Device Servers including the myUTN-80 dongle server and the myUTN-130 Scannerserver.
Four new screencasts in our video tutorials library show you how to use the UTN Manager starting with v.1.4.12 for more efficient administration of your SEH USB virtualization solutions:
For instance, we show you how to operate the myUTN USB Device Servers easily via the Command Line! You simply use your applications as ususal while the commands defined in the command line control the UTN Manager in the background.
We also demonstrate how you can use the Action Wizard to automatically connect and disconnect devices attached to a myUTN USB Device Server and to start an application after having activated a certain device. As soon as this application is closed again, the device will also be deactivated.
Let us show you how to use the cool Port Renaming function to rename each USB port of your myUTN USB device servers. In this screencast you can see how easy it is to assign an unambiguous name to a port and immediately see which device you want to connect.
Our latest screencast leads you through the steps for Port Deactivation. This is a security function ensuring that no unwanted USB devices are connected to the network by simply deactivating free ports.
Please let us know if you have questions, suggestions and/or ideas for our screencast library!
