Upon program start of the SEH Product Manager, the network has to be scanned for connected SEH Computertechnik GmbH devices. By default, the local network segment is searched with multicast when the program is opened. You can also search in freely definable IP ranges for SEH Computertechnik GmbH devices. In addition, you can add a device directly via its IP address or its fully qualified domain name.
All devices found in are displayed in the device list.
1. In
the menu bar, select Program
– Settings.
The Settings
dialog appears.
2. Select the Network Scan tab.
3. Tick IP Range Search and define one or more network ranges via Add respectively Remove.
4. Click OK.
➔ The settings will be saved.
The multicast search in the local network segment is defined by default. The system automatically determines the IP ranges to be searched.
You can deactivate the multicast or exclude determined IP ranges from the search.

2. Select the Network Scan tab.
3. De-/activateMulticast or one or more network ranges.
4. Click OK.
➔ The settings will be saved.
IP support can be via IPv4, IPv6 or with IPv4 and IPv6.
The UTN Manager can be used in IPv4 and IPv6 environments. The selection determines which IP version is used in the software.

Important IPv4 is default. Selecting IPv6 is only suitable for IPv6 networks. If you are not sure about your network, select IPv4 and IPv6. |
1. Select Options from the Program menu.
The Options dialog appears.
2. Select Program.
3. Select the desired IP support.
4. Select OK.
➔ The setting is saved.

bar, select List – Scan.
Alternatively, you can click the Search
button below the device list-
➔ The network is scanned. All devices found in are displayed in the device list.
✓ You know the IP address respectively fully qualified domain name of the SEH Computertechnik GmbH device.
1. In the menu
bar, select Device – Add.
The Add device dialog appears.
2. Enter the IP address or the fully qualified domain name of the device.
3. Click OK.
➔ The device is shown in the device list.
