CeBIT attendees can have a first look at the new industrial device server INU-100 by SEH Computertechnik in Hall 3 Stand H12. This device server has been designed for integration into control cabinets and server cabinets. This ensures a simple and “clean” installation of the device into the running IT infrastructure. The user is enabled to use and access serial periphery over the network (using a USB2Serial adapter). Through a special point-to-point connection, like with local connections, a safe and location-independent access can be ensured. With INU-100 SEH also promises indispensable reliability and high availability.

The performance specifications of INU-100 are also worth mentioning: it has two USB 3.0 ports and a Gigabit Ethernet connection. High reliability and availability are ensured through a redundant power supply, automatic backup via micro-SDCard and notification in case of events and errors. This is especially important in production and manufacturing environments. INU-100 can be used with Windows, OS X/macOS and Linux operating systems. Additionally, the INU-100 possesses Change Over relays. Whether for the automotive, manufacturing or plant engineering industry, the relays can be adjusted for individual needs. For example, an error status can be shown which is something that can be useful when building sensor networks over TCP/IP networks for the implementation of Industry 4.0.
