Prestigious award for SEH: The international jury of the German Design Award has awarded the new printing solution primos in the price category "Special Mention" for their "outstanding design quality". The official award ceremony will take place on the 12th of February in Frankfurt.

"This award is a great acknowledgment of our work. Not only did we place our efforts in the functionality and usability of the product but we wanted to create a well-designed product, "says Joachim Sturmhoefel, Managing Director of SEH. The combined hard and software solution, which was launched in the spring, enables uncomplicated printing of all popular document, graphic and image formats from iOS devices. "iOS devices have set design standards, which our hardware should not be inferior to," emphasizes Sturmhoefel.

According to the jury's opinion this objective has been met: "The pure design with clean design language does away with everything unnecessary, indicates high quality and combines innovative hardware and software in one compact box," as stated in the official jury statement.

The German Design Award is one of the leading international design awards. It honors innovative products and designers, who are leading the way in the German and international design landscape. The competition entries have been exclusively authorized and nominated by the organizers, the German Design Council, or by one of the economic ministries of the German states.

This was exactly the case with primos: The mobile printing solution, which has been designed for professional use in the enterprise environment, enables printing of all popular formats from iOS and all printers regardless of manufacturer and AirPrint capability. The installation of additional software or apps is eliminated, as is investing in more expensive hardware such as a print server. One primos terminal also allows you to manage up to ten printers and an unlimited number of iOS users.
